One of our favorite weddings from 2018 was lovely Eva and Andrew's day in Mid Coast Maine in August. Like many of our couples that come from other destinations (California) they wanted a laid-back, garden party feel to their day with some quintessential Maine elements! We always love an outdoor ceremony with the ocean as the backdrop, a cocktail hour outside on the dock overlooking the boats and the gorgeous setting created by Sarah from Daisies and Pearls (one of our favorite planners to work with!) and Michelle Peele at the Bradley Inn for their reception was beyond stunning (side note: the owners of the Bradley Inn are so sweet and their food was absolutely delicious!).

"Eva and Andrew’s love story begins as teenagers summering on the shores of Mid Coast Maine. It was only fitting the couple begin the next chapter of their love story in the place it began. Guests were welcomed to Maine in the most festive way; a lobster bake at The Contented Sole. Eva and Andrew’s wedding day arrived with blue skies and sunshine, making for a perfect summer day, captured even more perfectly by Fidelio Photography. The couple said “I Do” at the stunning, picturesque Fort William Henry, Pemaquid Point, Maine. Michelle Peele Florals added to the beauty of the surroundings with gorgeous blooms. Following the ceremony guests made their way back to The Contented Sole for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the dock. After taking in the joys of the seaside, guests were treated to a savory dinner at the charming Bradley Inn. Post dinner the dance floor remained packed with tunes by DJ Jon. While taking a break from the dance floor guests enjoyed delectable treats by Barn Door Baking Company. It was the most perfect of summer days indeed."

It was so great to work with Andrew and Eva and all the amazing vendors who helped making this wedding possible!
