We recently documented Will and Callie’s micro wedding at the lovely Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine. Having recently moved up to this area we are anxious to work at more venues here and the Samoset did not disappoint. Will and Callie had a brief ceremony with their children at a spot on the lawns overlooking the ocean and after some family photos we ventured out to explore with them and spent some time on the jetty. It was a chilly and windy spring evening but Will and Callie were glowing and up for anything we wanted to photograph (the best kind of attitude!). Callie really wanted shots during golden hour and we were so lucky to have a beautiful evening for her. After photos their group retreated to the wonderful restaurant, La Bella Vita, for dinner. Whether you’re looking to elope on the coast of Rockport, have a smaller micro wedding like Will and Callie or have a larger wedding, the Samoset is a great choice with stunning views, lots to do for everyone (golf, a pool, a great spa, etc). We highly encourage you to consider having your wedding there!
