Dreamy Maine proposal

For several weeks Carter and I emailed back and forth to create the perfect proposal for Kelsey but when the week approached we faced big challenges with the weather (basically the whole summer was like this in Maine—so much rain!) and the forecast was constantly changing. We went back and forth about the day, the plan, the location, the back up plan, the back up to the back up plan, etc and had a crazy number of emails back and forth trying to figure it out. In the end we decided we were going to go for it in the rainbut then the forecast suddenly changed AGAIN and I made a last minute call when they were on the flight to do it that night! In very little time after arriving to Maine he was able to get Kelsey to the location and surprise her and we were treated to the most gorgeous weather. Sunset is always the best time for a proposal! It was such a joy to plan this and meet them and photograph them! I’m a big gestures person so I really love seeing the love and thought that goes into proposals and helping make them happen. And they’re amazing no matter what the weather but we just got so lucky that it worked out this way. So happy for these two!
