Monhegan Island | Maine Elopement | Jenny and James

Earlier this year I received the sweetest e-mail from Jenny, which included this line, "I found your website a couple years ago; your work is stunning and individual. I knew if the time ever came, you'd be first on my list to contact." What an amazing thing to hear! We met up with Jenny and James and connected with them immediately, and loved their plans of a smaller, intimate wedding on Monhegan Island--where the were engaged--with just their family and friends. These have become some of our favorite days to photograph--simple, easy, intimate and beautiful. James and Jenny had a ceremony at a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean, and then lots of time for us to explore the island for photos of the two of them, followed by a dinner with their family. After dinner they had a sunset boat ride around the island. Jenny and James had an absolutely beautiful June day for their wedding and the photos tell the story of the day... we were so happy to work with them and document their wedding day for them!
