Hidden Pond, Kennebunkport, Maine wedding

Hidden Pond is one our absolute favorite venues in Maine — the grounds and buildings there are all so beautiful and then the surrounding area of Kennebunkport is also amazing so there is always so much to work with. It’s also a great spot for a vacation (or honeymoon) and they also have an incredible restaurant, Earth, and I highly encourage you to check it out because their food is amazing. As with any time of the year in Maine, weather-wise you never really know what you’re going to get, so you just go with what you get. On Ryan and Sherise’s wedding day in October there happened to be a hurricane — not just a little rain, but torrential downpours the entire day and heavy winds. We were already familiar with the property so were able to find some great indoor spaces to shoot in and even were able to go outside with them for a few minutes with an umbrella. Despite the weather all of their guests had an absolute blast and Ryan and Sherise didn’t let it bother them at all, we worked it into their wedding story and they partied late into the night and as you can tell from the photos it was a beautiful day! The vendor team was killer for this wedding and I can’t get over how gorgeous all of the details were!

If you’re planning a Hidden Pond wedding please get in touch, we’d love to talk more!
